Our business is 100% referral based. HSL also provides home loan services & is a trusted adviser to several of Australia’s leading property land developers in SE Qld.
Tarek Baytieh – Managing Director
Tarek has over 30 years of extensive experience in finance and customer service, in both the private and public sectors. Tarek holds a Diploma of Finance & Mortgage Broking Management, Certificate IV in Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking) and is a Member of MFAA. Tarek possesses a wealth of knowledge in the home loan and investment property markets, has undertaken several property development projects, and owned several investment properties. A ‘straight shooter’ & known for his genuine honesty, Tarek takes pride in & sets a very high standard in the services provided to HSL Clients, & considers all their Clients as ‘family’.
Tarek is a devoted father of 4 adorable children, & his personal interests include fishing, playing Soccer, & avidly following his beloved Brisbane Lions AFL Team. He (secretly) does like mowing his lawn too!
Jacqui van der Merwe – Client Care Team
With over 10 years experience in customer service across several industries including aviation, education, recruitment and IT, Jacqui holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and is eager to continue learning and expanding her knowledge in the finance industry. Jacqui loves helping our clients achieve their home ownership goals and ensuring their experience is one that is seamless and enjoyable as possible throughout the whole process. She believes no question is a silly question when it comes to understanding home loan finance and if she doesn’t know the answer she will make sure she finds it for you!
Jacqui loves spending time with her Husband and 2 children enjoying the outdoors in the beautiful Queensland weather or satisfying her shopping & baking addiction. She is a passionate traveller and has ventured to all corners of the world, managing to tick off 50 Countries and living in 5 before deciding Brisbane was the perfect place to settle in… and aren’t we grateful she did!
Sandra Ramsay – Client Care Team
Sandra’s passion is people and her experience in the lending industry spans over 15 years. Sandra holds a Diploma of Finance & Mortgage Broking Management and Certificate IV in Finance/Mortgage Broking. Sandra is family orientated and understands the importance of support. She loves a good conversation and nurtures these into strong Client relationships. Sandra will assist in any way she can to ensure your experience is positive and stress free.
Outside of work, Sandra is a movie & music buff and enjoys the outdoors, especially the beach.
